The Endeavour Ventures team has almost 50 years' venture capital experience and abilities in all areas of the growth company investment sector.

 

Richard Hargreaves has invested and advised smaller companies since 1973. 

 

He was at 3i plc for nearly ten years before founding Baronsmead plc.  This company was sold to Friends Ivory & Sime plc in 1995 after which he ran all their unquoted activities. 

 

He left at the end of 1997, by which time managed funds totalled £180m, and before co-founding Classic Fund Management Limited.  This company managed investments which are now held by Chrysalis VCT plc and was sold in 2004 prior to the launch of Endeavour Ventures.

Richard is a former chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and has considerable experience as a non-executive director on the boards of both public and private companies.

Bill Cunningham, MA Hons (40), is a founding director of Endeavour Ventures Ltd (www.endven.com) where he has worked since 2005 arranging corporate finance transactions and venture finance for small and medium sized UK businesses. He is a board director of Acresail Ltd, the vehicle used to take private the trading subsidiaries of Tadpole Technology Plc, and for which he has subsequently raised and invested £4m. The business trades as Endeavors Technologies Inc/Ltd (www.endeavors.com) and owns one of the leading software streaming and virtualization solutions, which is a core component of cloud computing.

 

Bill also sits on the board of property services business Koodu Ltd (www.koodu.com; www.homesforheroesuk.co.uk ) and is Deputy Chairman of Denver based US loyalty and digital media business Rainbow Rewards Holdings Ltd (www.rainbowrewards.com). He has made several successful investments during his career, as the only institutional investor in the original funding round of Sit-up TV (www.sit-up.tv) and being an original backer of the successful fund-raising/tax reclaim website Just Giving (www.justgiving.com) which is widely used in the UK for coordinating charitable sponsorship.

Bozena Ilencikova joined the Endevour Ventures Team in February 2008. Prior to this Bozena woked for a large serviced office operator as a Business Centre Manager.

 

At Endeavour Bozena's role is to establish high-quality client relationships with additional responsibility for general marketing activities.

Paul Hacker is a successful enterprise-software entrepreneur with a background in B2B Enterprise Solution sales and a track record of leading growth businesses from development stage to profitable trade exits. He has been involved in the sale of several venture backed businesses, including Enterprise Systems (backed by Advent international) to Misys Plc and of Logic Line (an MBI backed by 3i) to Swiss purchasers. With a founder partner, he has also sold start up communications solutions provider Source 1 to Lynx Plc within 24 months of inception.

 

Paul is an experienced deal maker with a passion for getting involved, developing sales and scaling up businesses with external capital prior to identifying his exit. Initially trained in law and finance, Paul has assisted venture capital providers with portfolio companies on a consultancy basis.

Bill Jones operates both in his own capacity and as an associate of Endeavour Ventures. He has been in the industry since 1973 in which time he has held leadership positions for companies in 20+ countries.

He has held directorship roles in many communication technology companies including Motorola Inc, Global Village Limited and FirstMark Communications Services Europe. Bill is an experienced entrepreneur with a successful track record in high technology venture capital.
