This existing Endven client’s business is the topical issue of prevention of data leakage. As reported last month, after a slow first year the company is poised to grow strongly and is now looking to raise £500,000. Terms for the majority of this are now in negotiation with two institutions.
The business is EIS qualifying. Interested investors should contact Richard Hargreaves, Richard@endven.com.

More than 30 of our clients are invested in this exciting company which aims to revolutionise the credit card reward system. It is already operational in five American States and had just agreed a Letter of Implementation with Citibank, the largest card issuer in the US (issuing over100m cards) so could be within a few months of significant growth.
The company is hoping to close a $20m investment in the next few weeks. In the meantime, a very attractively priced $4m round still has $200k/$300k available.
If this sounds interesting you should contact Bill Cunningham at Bill@endven.com as soon as possible for more information. EIS relief is not available.
This company seeks to develop a portfolio of local radio stations by acquisition of existing companies and new licences. Its founder, Nigel Reeve, was one of the founders of Classic FM. It is about to appoint a chairman with a formidable reputation in the media industry. The strategy is to use the low overhead local radio model to drive sales to the group’s web and publishing activities.
With the completion of the current Lite and Connect FM acquisitions, the company will have consolidated 2008 sales of £2.7m and will have raised in excess of £4m in equity. These acquisitions are funded but there is a continuing opportunity to invest around £150,000 of working capital at the current price. Once the acquisitions are completed EIS relief will no longer be available.
If you would like to learn more please contact Bill Cunningham at Bill@endven.com.
The company makes patented plastic tube that is used to protect fibre optic cable from the degradation in performance that results from crushed or kinked cables. It sells its products to the cable, aircraft and automotive industries and sales are beginning to develop encouragingly.
The company is raising a further round of finance totalling £500,000 and a first close is imminent.
If you would like to learn more, please contact Guy Macpherson-Grant at Guymg@endven.com. EIS relief is available.

The company has focused solely on water technologies and it will soon be renamed Aquario. The opportunities for a business which can create water from humidity in the air, purify it or recycle it are immense with much of the world having developing water problems of one sort or another.
Since May 2008 Viewpoint, EIS relief has been obtained and an investment round of c £1.25m is about to close. There are negotiations in hand for larger sums of money a little later in the year at significantly higher valuations.
